We were so thrilled with the outreach from our audience for our 2016 Spa Insight Snapshot that we wanted to share some of the results our readers.
The top three challenges faced by our spa owner/manager respondents:
- Marketing and Promotions Planning
- Staff Communications
- Retail Programming
We agree these are areas that require diligence, planning and follow through. The results also indicated that spa owners and managers are focused on Meeting Budget Goals as well as Increasing Marketing and Promotions which are goals and challenges in many of our clients’ spas.
Not surprisingly, retail sales continue to be a challenge for most: 42% report that it is ‘somewhat challenging’ to get staff to sell and another 23% say it is ‘difficult’.
